Booker T and his Hall Of Fame co-host Brad Gilmore shared in an engaging point of discussion and it all circled around Brock Lesnar and CM Punk.
In the segment at hand, Gilmore pitched the question to Booker as to which of the two SummerSlam 2013 combatants would make a better fit in AEW? Gilmore made a strong case for Lesnar as Booker stated why CM Punk would make more sense for All Elite.
“Punk is style. Punk’s style was always able to go out and adapt and work with a lot of these guys,” said Booker. “A lot flips, a lot of these crazy moves, crazy bumps, stuff off the top rope so Punk was always a guy that was in the conversation.
“Coming from that independent world, Punk was a guy that bridged from the independent scene to the big time and a lot of these AEW guys right now, trying to make the bridge right now, trying to get over that bridge and become major headline of superstars, but I think a guy like CM Punk would fit in with a company like AEW a whole lot better than a guy like Brock Lesnar, but then again it’s gonna all come down to that ‘bag.'”
