Mick Foley Doesn’t Believe He Could’ve Produced A Better Parking Lot Brawl Than AEW

On the September 16 episode of AEW Dynamite, Best Friends and Proud N’ Powerful competed in a wild parking lot brawl, which play by play announcer Jim Ross referred to as “the best street fight he has ever called.”

One man who is in many street fights that were called by Jim Ross is WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley. On Twitter, Mick Foley gave a glowing praise to the tag team parking lot brawl and said that he doesn’t think he could have produced anything better even in the prime of his career.

“I always wanted to have a big match in a parking lot, maybe on a pay per view. I remember pitching the idea for me and Vader in particular at the Omni, because the Omni had this really cool underground parking lot structure. I thought it would lend itself to an incredible match.”

He continued, “But I’m going to be honest, I’d be hard pressed to tell you what I could have done any better than those guys did, and that was just an outstanding match. I know it sounds crazy to say they were safe with abrasions and bruises. I know everybody is going to be feeling that one for a while, but they were as safe as they could be under the circumstances. The offense was really innovative. All the stuff looked great and it was fun as well. So not the type of match you should have very often, but if you are going to do it, you might as well go all out. And all four of those guys did. So really, really well done. Two thumbs way up from the hardcore legend. Have a nice day.
