After 36 years, Gerald Brisco has been let go by WWE.
The former NWA tag team champion and Mr. McMahon stooge from The Attitude Era was originally furloughed by WWE on Wednesday, April 15th, 2020, and revealed on Twitter today that he has received a call from Vince McMahon that his services are no longer needed.
Brisco says he is at peace with this decision and will be providing more details in the near future.

Gerald Brisco has been known to target amateur wrestlers when recruiting talent and is often credited with finding Brock Lesnar in 1999. Tucker of Heavy Machinery wished the WWE Hall of Famer well and said that he would not be where he is today without the help of Gerald Brisco. Adam Pearce also praised Brisco.
Simply put, @Fgbrisco changed my life.
Many will say the same, and I believe it. I call him my wrestling “Dad” because that’s how he treats me. And he never had to.
My gratitude is unending, and in fact it grows as I do. You’re a HOFer in every sense of the word, Dad! ?❤️ https://t.co/ynDy4fGrE6
