We’ll see a clash of champions inside the WWE Thunderdome but we’ll have to wait a week longer than originally planned.
According to a new report from PWInsider.com, the 2020 WWE Clash of Champions pay-per-view will now take place on Sunday, September 27. The initial date was scheduled for September 20; the event will take place inside the ThunderDome as part of WWE’s residency at Amway Center in Orlando.
WWE just hosted SummerSlam at the venue this past weekend and their next pay-per-view, WWE Payback, will take place this Sunday.
WWE’s current contract with the Amway Center runs through October 31, according to a report from MyNews 13’s Greg Angel. WWE is paying for any day they work inside the building and the amount per event varies based on several variables.
