In his All Elite Wrestling debut, Matt Cardona teamed with Cody Rhodes and took on John Silver and Alex Reynolds of the Dark Order.
The two former WWE superstars had no real issue against the Dark Order cronies. Rhodes started off the match strong and Cardona didn’t miss a step once he was tagged in. The two were able to out-power their smaller masked opponents. The cult members didn’t go down without a fight, though, as they were able to target Rhodes and gain some momentum until Cardona received the hot tag.
The new AEW roster member then cleared out the ring and looked great on the offensive. After Rhodes was able to stop the Dark Order’s double team attack, Cardona was able to pick up the win after hitting a Rough Ryder, now called Radio Silence.
