If you watched Wednesday’s edition of AEW Dynamite, you saw the scars left on the body of one Ricky Starks by rogue skateboarder Darby Allin during the main event tornado tag match. As Darby often does, he went to the top rope with a skate deck loaded with thumbtacks and hit a trick off of his opponent. This time around, the skateboarder hit his target deep, bloodying Ricky for the rest of the match.
Dr. Britt Baker was on the scene to capture Ricky’s back as AEW’s medical crew tended to his wounds. Fair warning, the scars seen in the video below could have come from just barely escaping a jungle cat:

AEW chief medical official Doc Sampson posted his own photos of the competitor, including one taken before Britt’s footage that really shows the markings as doctors remove the tacks from Stark’s back.

As far as has been reported, Ricky will make a fully recovery and be ready to go for future Dynamite tapings. Still, Starks and his partner Brian Cage fell to the team of Darby and AEW Champion Jon Moxley, so it was a bummer of a night for Team Taz all around.
