Late last month, it was reported that Michael Elgin’s tenure with IMPACT Wrestling had come to an end following sexual misconduct allegations. According to a recent report from Fightful, Elgin had his fair share of trouble while with the company leading up to his departure.
According to the report, Elgin had a rough couple of months with the company, with things culminating in a physical altercation with Sami Callihan. The report goes on to say that the two were setting up a match that involved Ken Shamrock, and disagreed on how things should start. Things reportedly escalated from there, with the two ending up in a fight that Scott D’Amore had to step in to break up.
While Elgin was reportedly set to appear in various events in the future, he was promptly released from IMPACT Wrestling after allegations surfaced of sexual misconduct on Elgin’s part, and will no longer appear in any IMPACT Wrestling programs.
