Another scheduled wrestler for tonight’s AEW Dynamite is now off the show following possible content with a carrier of COVID-19. Tony Khan tweeted out the news that AEW Champion Jon Moxley is staying home and getting tested following contact with an endangered individual. His scheduled match, which was to feature Taz on commentary, will now feature his Fyter Fest opponent Brian Cage against an unspecified opponent.
Recently @JonMoxley had contact with someone who had contact with someone who has COVID-19. Mox did the right thing & warned us. Doc asked him to stay home & get tested to protect us here at our test site. Cage will be in action tonight on #AEWDynamite ahead of their title fight pic.twitter.com/TWbskkzU2Z

Earlier today, AEW announced that QT Marshall was in quarantine in Georgia for similar reasons, which changed a scheduled tag team match for tonight. With Florida’s continued rise of infections following the state’s lifting of restrictions, replacements like this could continue to be a reality as long as AEW keeps their filming centralized to Daily’s Place in Jacksonville.
