The R-Truth Game Show To Premiere July 14
On the newest edition of WWE’s The Bump, WWE 24/7 Champion R-Truth stopped by and discussed several topics, including his mindset as the champion. Here are some highlights:
On whether his rivalry with Rob Gronkowski is over:
Truth: “You never say never, I’ve learned that, you know what I’m saying? But it’s like, I ended up coaching old Gronk, man, you know what I’m saying? I’ll give him a few tips, man, like flipping the mulch will help you make touchdowns, you know what I’m saying? People don’t know that, man.
On whether he can relax while he defends the 24/7 title:
If it ain’t broke don’t fix it? You feel me, dog, on that? It’s like eating warm ice cream. Bro, this 24/7, 48/7, 7/11, I-95 European Championship, dog, is the only one of its kind, you can see so many titles, man, defended in so many different ways. This baby right here, it has its one and only way to be defended and that’s by moi, you know what I’m saying? You have to be a 24/7-ologist to know about these types of things, dog.
On defending the 24/7 title:
Truth: You have to like elevate and adapt so I’m adapting to being a 24-ologist, and I’m just like adapting to my surroundings. You use all of the surroundings, you use people, you use all that. See, this title ain’t just a ring thing, it’s an awareness thing, it’s everywhere, man, you know what I’m saying? It’ll drive most people crazy, dog, but it’s good to be sane like I am because you can come up with stuff, with ways to keep your baby intact where your baby should be at, you know what I’m saying? The pressure gets hard, but I just deal with the pressure, I live off of it.
Truth also revealed that he’ll be hosting a new gameshow on the WWE Network, which will premiere July 14.

Shotzi Blackheart & Tegan Nox Preview Women’s Tag Title Match
Shotzi Blackheart and Tegan Nox also appeared on WWE’s The Bump. The duo discussed several topics, including their match with WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks and Bayley. Here are some highlights.
Nox on how her approach to this tag title shot is different than the previous one:
Nox: “Well at least my friend this time actually likes me, so that’s a big plus, you know? Don’t have to worry about her turning on me, I don’t think, so you know, I’m excited. This time I’m actually gonna walk away with the championships.”
Blackheart on whether she feels the pressure of bringing the Women’s Tag Team Championship to NXT:
Blackheart: “Well, I didn’t think about it like that until you said it. So now I’m feeling the pressure, you know? I didn’t really have a game plan going on, I just wanna have a good time and maybe end up the champion, but whew, alright. Yeah, I’m feeling it now.”
Blackheart on Bayley and Banks:
Blackheart: “Oh yeah, I’ve definitely been fans of both of them. Bayley used to come and watch some of my first indie matches and talk to me afterwards, give me some words of advice and so to now come here and be facing both of them for the tag championship is just wild to me.”
Nox on her vehicle of choice:
Nox: “Okay, now hear me out. I’ve kinda thought about this for a while. I wanna come out on a chariot pulled by sheep because I think that would be great.”
