Ever since being let go by WWE on Wednesday, April 15th, 2020, EC3 has gone on a crusade letting people know that they can control their own narrative.
EC3’s latest message is that everyone, from the media, to politicians, to your church leaders, and even your lovers, everybody is lying to you.
“You have been lied to your whole life and every person responsible has failed you,” EC3 began in a new Twitter video. “Your bosses have failed you, alleged captains of industry driven by greed, soulless brutes who despise you, who regiment you and who see you as nothing more than a year in their corporate machine. Your elected officials have failed you. Red, blue, white, green. It is all the same. Conflicting heads of state who have been making the same empty promises with the same baseless ambitions and delivering nothing. All you are to them is a vote.
“The media has failed you. Supposed purveyors of our information presenting their opinions as facts or directly lying to your face because their overlords dictate the story they want to tell. Mind control, manipulation, mockingbird. To them all you are is clickbait. Your organized religious leaders have failed you. You develop faith, develop values, you develop the model for a good life, and then you watch as these leaders protect the most heinous actions imaginable and make you beg for your salvation. To them, all you are is a donation. Your lovers have failed you. Look, they’re either cheating on you, or you’re cheating on them, and it’s just a matter of time before one of you rejects the other. To them, you’re not their first choice.”
EC3 would continue by saying there is hope and solitude and freedom.
“But there’s hope, there’s hope in freedom, freedom in work that has a purpose. Freedom in holding those in power accountable.Freedom in turning off the television, turning off social media. Freedom in finding God on your own terms. There is freedom in solitude. When you have no one left to trust, you can only trust yourself. Control your narrative. You have been warned.”
