Rey Fenix took a rough bump on Wednesday’s episode of All Elite Wrestling Dynamite after not being caught on a dive and he won’t compete at the company’s pay-per-view this Saturday as a result. AEW says that Fenix “isn’t expected to miss significant time” due to his injury.
Originally meant to be one of the Casino Ladder Match participants at AEW Double or Nothing, Fenix will now be replaced by Joey Janela. “The Bad Boy” will have a shot to win a AEW World Championship title shot as a result. Also competing are Darby Allin, Colt Cabana, Orange Cassidy, Scorpio Sky, Kip Sabian, Frankie Kazarian, Luchasaurus, and one mystery participant.
This marks the second match impacted by injuries that occurred on Dynamite’s go-home show.
