This week on WWE RAW, Seth Rollins wanted to give a “sermon.” The Monday Night Messiah said he’d had a revelation after his brutal assault on Rey Mysterio last week. Rollins said his loss to Drew McIntyre at WWE Money In The Bank put him in a dark place and he didn’t know if he could escape it. “But without darkness, there can be no light,” said Rollins. “I have seen the light.”

Rollins credited Mysterio for his ability to see the light. The Monday Night Messiah called the assault on Mysterio “unfortunate but necessary.” He said it gave him the clarity he needed. Rollins then addressed Mysterio. “From the bottom of my heart, so that when we meet face-to-face again, it doesn’t have to be said again. Rey Mysterio, you’re welcome.”
Humberto Carrillo interrupted Rollins and called Mysterio his idol. “All that you are in this world is a coward,” said Carrillo. Rollins gave Carrillo credit for standing up for Mysterio. Rollins told him Murphy is dressed for a match, so he’s ready to give Carrillo a fight.
Carrillo then faced Murphy in a match. He rocked Murphy with a kick early on but Murphy knocked him off the top rope. Murphy then grounded Carrillo and neutralized his high-flying offense. Carrillo dove onto Murphy outside the ring. Thanks to a distraction from Rollins, Murphy drilled Carrillo with a knee strike and pinned him with Murphy’s Law. Murphy attacked Carrillo but Aleister Black rushed to the rescue. Rollins and Murphy fled the scene.
The look of victory.
