Sarah Logan was released last week but it appears that WWE already had plans to bring her back—at least for one week for now.
According to Dave Meltzer on the post-Raw episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Logan was originally in the script for Monday’s show but ended up being written out at the last minute. Meltzer noted that Logan has not been rehired at this point but could be used again, and says she was originally supposed to be on the show in one or two points of the show. It was noted that there’s a mentality on WWE’s part that they can still use wrestlers in her position since they’re still being paid for 90 days, pointing out Drake Maverick as someone in a similar spot.
As seen on last night’s episode of WWE RAW, Logan’s name was mentioned a few times on air, leading many to believe she could already be on her way back to TV. Before the show started last night, Fightful reported she might make a surprise return after several wrestlers spoke up on her behalf after she was let go. While not a direct confirmation of which wrestler, Pro Wrestling Sheet’s Ryan Satin also alluded to possibly seeing some of the recently released talent back on WWE TV in the near future.
Logan was name-dropped by the commentary team in reference to Shayna Baszler “breaking” her arm last week, as well as Ruby Riott referring to her as the third member of the Riott Squad.
