As first reported by Pro Wrestling Sheet, Lucha House Party member Kalisto has re-upped with WWE for several years. Kalisto tweeted out last year that his contract was up in early 2020 and that he’d be a free agent then. Sources are telling Pro Wrestling Sheet that the luchador feels that he has more to accomplish in WWE, which explains why he decided to stay with WWE rather than roam to another promotion.
Kalisto is a former Cruiserweight and United States Champion, both reigns coming early in his career. His alliance with Gran Metallik and Lince Dorado has given him opportunities across WWE’s many brands. He and his team with drafted to SmackDown in the last WWE Draft, and that’s where he’ll stay for the time being.
