Taz, Excalibur, and JR are on the call!
Cody vs. Darby Allin
Arn Anderson is out with Cody as the “Head Coach for the Nightmare Family.”
Slow start, favoring Cody. Some chain wrestling commenced. Quick near falls were exchanged. An immediate standoff slowed down the pace once more.
The pace quickened as both men went for their signature moves and were countered. Darby would begin to build momentum as he exploded an arm injury suffered by Rhodes.
Cody would lock in the figure 4 leg lock and Darby struggled his way to the ropes. Later, Darby would try for an arm submission with no luck.
Cody would get an avalanche dragon suplex to connect for only a count of two. This would take us into our commercial break.
After the break, Darby would hit the coffin drop on the apron and Cody would accidentally slam into an exposed turnbuckle but due to the coaching of Arn Anderson, he was able to get his feet up on a second coffin drop attempt and roll up Darby for the win.
WINNER: Cody.

AEW WOMEN’S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP: Riho vs. Nyla Rose vs. Hikaru Shida vs. Britt Baker.
Rose started things off prematurely by beating up all the women with the championship belt until Shida put a stop to it with her kendo stick.
It was a competitive match up but ultimately, Riho would pin Baker with a jackknife cover.
WINNER AND STILL CHAMP: Riho.

Jon Moxley vs. Trent
Trent put up a good fight, and Jim Ross called it the best singles match he had seen from him but not even an Orange Cassidy distraction was enough to thwart Jon Moxley. Two Paradigm Shifts later and Jon Moxley was successful.

Sammy Guevara vs. Dustin Rhodes
Jake Hager was on the outside. The back-and-forth battle between veteran and egotistical rookie saw the legend pull out a Canadian destroyer on the apron because LOL AEW.
Ultimately, Sammy would distract the referee and Jake Hager would knee Rhodes in the groin giving Sammy the win.

The Elite vs. PAC and Lucha Bros
High octane offense all over the place. One of the matches from this week that you should definitely seek out. Hangman Page was on commentary and discussed trying to break away from The Elite even though management won’t let him.

In the homestretch, Kenny kicked out of the black arrow. Kenny also survived the rings of Saturn. A V-trigger to Fenix followed by the One-Winged Angel led to the victory for The Elite. Cody came out to celebrate with them as they were all victorious for the first time on Dynamite since the show started they wanted Hangman to celebrate with them but he declined and was focused on his drink.
