After an eventful episode of NXT this past Wednesday, WWE has provided an update on a few superstars who left it all in the ring and came out worse for wear. Most notable of these is definitely Dakota Kai, who took a vicious crash through a table at ringside during an all-out brawl of a match with Mia Yim. Kai needed eight staples to close a laceration, but she refused to listen to doctors telling her to rest up. She stated on Twitter that she’ll be at NXT house shows this coming weekend.
Other injury victims include Fandango, who inflicted a dislocated elbow upon himself while striking the Singh Brothers from the apron during their match. Fandango was rushed to a hospital for imaging after the match. Travis Banks, who arrived from NXT UK to take on Jackson Rycker, got an eyebrow laceration for his trouble. The Kiwi Buzzsaw is listed as day to day after the show.
