The show kicks off with the most of the NXT roster partying in the arena. The Undisputed Era interrupts. Adam Cole asks what the hell they are out there celebrating for. Everyone in the ring had nothing to do with NXT’s success at Survivor Series. No one out here is NXT. The Undisputed Era is NXT. Ciampa, Lee, Dijakovic, and Riddle in the ring. Ciampa says for four boys who just got their asses whipped at Wargames the UE sure seems confident. WarGames was the beginning of the end for the Unidpusted Era. Ciampa says Lee and Dijakovic are going to take the tag titles from Strong and O’Reilly. Ciampa says he told Goldie she had to wait because daddy had to go to war but now war is over. No one in the UE will stand in Ciampa’s way on his path to get Goldie back. Finn Bálor walks out on the ramp and stands in front of Cole. Bálor says he is standing in Ciampa’s way. Ciampa tells the prince that he just met his king. Ciampa challenges Bálor to a match tonight. Lee tells Fish and O’Reilly to get in the ring.
NXT Tag Team Championship Match: The Undisputed Era (c) vs. Keith Lee and Kyle O’Reilly
Fish and O’Reilly knock Dijakovic out of the ring. Fish and O’Reilly double team Lee. Lee knocks O’Reilly out of the ring. Lee press slams Fish out of the ring onto Fish. O’Reilly tries a cross body but is caught in midair by Dijakovic. Dijakovic knees O’Reilly in the gut multiple times before tossing him aside as if he was trash. Fish is taken to the back due to injury. Roderick Strong takes Fish’s place. Vertical armbar by Lee. Lee slams Strong onto O’Reilly. Dijakovic and Lee get into it after Dijakovic accidentally bumps Lee. Lee destroys O’Reilly with Grizzly magnum. Dijakovic suplexes Lee on top of O’Reilly. After a distraction, Strong chop blocks Dijakovic. Strong and O’Reilly take turns working over Dijakovic’s injured knee. After the break, Dijakovic tags in Lee. Lee flattens Strong and O’Reilly. Lee launches O’Reilly into Strong.
Lee tries to Spirit Bomb Strong but O’Reilly breaks it up. Lee belly-to-belly suplexes Strong and O’Reilly. Strong chop blocks Lee. O’Reilly lands a flying knee off the apron. Lee tags in Dijakovic, who turns Strong inside out with a clothesline. Dijakovic tries to chokeslam O’Reilly. O’Reilly turns it into a triangle. Dijakovic lifts O’Reilly off the mat. Strong charges in but Dijakovic grabs Strong by the throat. Dijakovic powerbombs O’Reilly while chokeslaming Strong. Strong chop blocks Lee on the outside. Dijakovic lands a dive. Dijakovic chokeslams Strong and O’Reilly at the same time. Adam Cole runs down the ramp. Lee pounces Cole so hard he is sent into the third row. In the ring, Strong and O’Reilly hit the High/Low on Dijakovic for the win.
