WWE’s latest venture into the world of video games was a successful one. On the NPD Group’s sales charts, the sports simulation title from 2K and Visual Concepts ranked 7th overall in terms of dollar sales. Stats come from both physical and digital sales across all marketplaces where the game was available.
Publisher 2K made a strong showing on October’s list, with five games placing in the top 20. The Outer Worlds, which was published under their Private Division label, placed second overall. Despite some controversy around launch, 2K20 performed better than 2K19 during its first month, raising three spots on the list when compared to last year’s entry.
