Two matches have been confirmed for this week’s new episode of AEW Dynamite in Nashville, as Hangman Page will get his rubber match with PAC while The Inner Circle looks to add more gold.
During tonight’s first AEW Full Gear post-show media scrum, Chris Jericho was asked about the new AEW Rankings system and shared his feelings before moving on to say Inner Circle will add more gold wherever they could. Jericho then said he was laying down the challenge to SCU, as he and Sammy Guevara would represent The Inner Circle in a quest to become the Tag Team Champions on this Wednesday’s show.
Hangman also took part in a scrum and said he beat PAC but not the way he wanted to, and made note that he wanted one more shot at “The Bastard” since they were tied 1-1. Later in the evening in his own press conference, Tony Khan asked about the matchmaking process and if the lack of an on-screen figure would influence future shows, and it was also referenced that Jericho and Page had issued their respective challenges. Khan confirmed that those matches would take place on the broadcast this week from Nashville.
