Hulk Hogan will turn back the hands of time this Wednesday, brother, but not to drop the big leg on an episode of NXT or AEW. The Red & Yellow will be running wild on ABC’s The Goldbergs as Hulkster will be playing himself in an episode that features WrestleMania. The synopsis of the episode is below.
“Murray decides to buy WrestleMania tickets to spend time with Barry and Adam, but he buys fake tickets so they can’t get in. Meanwhile, Beverly forms her own neighborhood watch group when the Frentas decide neighbor Jane Bales will be the Watch Captain and not her. Even though Barry and Adam can’t get in, they’re still going to get the WrestleMania treatment when Hulk shows up!”
The Goldbergs is a sitcom that takes place in the 1980s so Hulkamania was in full force during that time period. Former WWE star Carlito is also featured in the episode, but these two weren’t the only pro wrestling stars to be on the hit show. Goldberg himself has played the character Nick Mellor multiple times, who is the brother of Coach Rick Mellor on the show.
