Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer is reporting that WWE recently had a meeting with Cain Velasquez. Reports say that Velasquez also plans to meet with AEW. We reported a few weeks ago that Cain had met with NJPW officials also.
No final decision has been made by Cain at this time but it should be noted that he is still under contract with UFC. Cain has went on the record saying that he is intrigued and interested in what AEW is doing right now. He also teamed with AEW’s Cody at TripleMania recently.
