The Rock Wants To Put Belt Around Jorge Masvidal’s Waist
The Rock might be making an appearance inside Madison Square Garden later this year, but it won’t be for WWE. “The Great One” took to Twitter recently and said he’s going to try and make the UFC 242 pay-per-view (PPV) card from MSG, which is headlined by Jorge Masvidal vs. Nate Diaz.
Masvidal is a fellow Miami native of The Rock’s, so he’ll likely be supporting “Gamebred.” However, Masvidal responded on Twitter to Rock’s comments, noting he’d like the Hollywood star to wrap the “Baddest Mother F*cker” belt around his waist if he wins. The Rock responded by saying he’d love to.
.@TheRock I’m telling @danawhite i want you to put it around my waist 305 all day ?? #supernecessary https://t.co/iLVTW6i92q

Doing all I can to make this fight. If I can and you win, I’ll put the belt around your waist at MSG – consider it done. Already shaping up to be one of the biggest and most electrifying fights in @ufc history. Can’t wait. @GamebredFighter @NateDiaz209 #respect #BMF #UFC244 ⚡️ https://t.co/nVTIeBtkgv

Ex-WWE Star Offered MMA Deal
Speaking of MMA, Wrestling Inc. is reporting that former WWE star TJ Perkins has been offered a deal to fight for Bellator MMA. Bellator wanted Perkins to fight in November, but that timeline was too short for the former WWE Cruiserweight Champ. Conversations are reportedly ongoing. Also, the weight Bellator wanted him to fight at was too high as well. A deal is far from being done.
