Speaking with Sports Illustrated, Ricochet addressed rumors that his girlfriend Kacy Catanzaro was retiring from wrestling after a back injury. “She’s still with the company. She’s not retired at all and she’s not injured. It’s a tough sport and we’re all hurting, but there is nothing wrong with her.”
Having said that, Ricochet went on to say that he doesn’t know if Kacy will wrestle again. “She’s very family-oriented and she wants kids, so she doesn’t know if being on the road so much is for her.”
Kacy Catanzaro had yet to become a regular fixture of NXT TV, but she made a splash in the Women’s Royal Rumble earlier this year. She also appeared in the second Mae Young Classic Tournament, losing to Rhea Ripley in the second round.
