Tanahashi has also claimed NJPW’s top prize this year, defeating Kenny Omega at Wrestle Kingdom 13, breaking his own record at eight total reigns. That period was short-lived, and Hiroshi spent the majority of the year pursuing Sabre Jr. Zack has held the British Heavyweight Championship for 239 days, picking it up back at RevPro/NJPW Global Wars UK 2018 last October.
