Twitter can be used for good or evil, but last night it was used for good when it rekindled the wrestling connection between Ken Shamrock and The Rock. “The World’s Most Dangerous Man” went to promote his upcoming match he’s set to have with Moose in IMPACT Wrestling and a fan chimed in to say how big of an impact Ken had on the Attitude Era, particularly his Intercontinental Title feud with “The People’s Champ.” IMPACT World Champ Brian Cage completely agreed on the idea before The Rock himself co-signed on Shamrock’s importance to the Attitude Era & the development of The Rock character in general.
“I’ll co-sign that. @ShamrockKen helped build “The Rock” character. Huge #AttitudeEra influence. We tore the houses down together. I’ll always be grateful and respectful. He’s a fucking machine. They don’t make em like that anymore. Thanks for the house brother Ken”
People don’t understand just how underrated @shamrockken is as a wrestler… a HUGE part of the attitude era, great matches with @TheRock @itsvadertime Owen Hart, etc. pic.twitter.com/UMGdBAJtnQ

Ken and Rock’s rivalry was a definite memorable one for the Attitude Era as the two feuded during WrestleMania XIV season and even fought one another in the 1998 King Of The Ring finals before The Rock was crowned. You can listen to WrestleZone’s exclusive interview with Shamrock below:
