Starrcast promoter Conrad Thompson took to Twitter early-Thursday morning to announce that AEW’s Jon Moxley will no longer be able to be a part of his scheduled Starrcast panel or meet & greet, due to the same injury that caused him to pull out of AEW All Out and GCW presents Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport II.
According to Thompson, Moxley was upset about canceling, saying “I’m sorry, this sucks.” Thompson and the entire Starrcast team wished Moxley a speedy recovery.
Thompson said that everyone who purchased tickets to his meet & greet have been notified via email, and that they are in the process of refunding customers. A new schedule will be released on Thursday to accommodate the cancellation of Moxley’s Starrcast stage show.
Moxley was originally scheduled to have a live microphone for the first time since leaving WWE, and it was planned to be broadcast on FITE TV. There is no word on what will replace Moxley’s show.
We received word today that unfortunately
@JonMoxley won’t be able to travel to@StarrcastEvents. Once he got the word from his doctor he told us, “I’m sorry, this sucks.” I’m sure we all echo those sentiments. We wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him soon.Everyone who purchased his meet and greet has been notified via email. Refunds will begin being processed tomorrow. His stage show has been cancelled and a new schedule will be released tomorrow.
