This week’s edition of Being The Elite starts with Kenny Omega hearing the unfortunate news about Jon Moxley’s injury. After starting to cut a promo on competing with his rival, he instead goes into a promo detailing Moxley’s journey. “He defied the wrestling god and he came to AEW and threw me off a stack of chips. And then he went on this warrior’s journey. He wanted to know what it was like to live a month in Kenny Omega’s shoes.” He goes on to taunt Moxley for failing to win the G1 on his first try as he did. He also states that he just has a “boo boo on his elbow,” taunts his tweet apology, and says that Moxley wasn’t acting like a professional. “I would love to wish you a speedy recovery, that’s what I’m supposed to say. At this point, I could really give a sh!t if you ever come back.”
The next segment involves Cody and the Bucks sitting around a table contemplating what they’re going to do for All Out now that Moxley is out. The whiteboard behind Cody features a pair of Easter eggs. They first suggest making a Triple Threat match, but Cody calls that a “WWE Move.” They rattle off other names before coming to PAC, as previously announced.
Tony Schiavone appears to announce that AEW’s November 6th episode will hail from Bojangle’s Coliseum in Charlotte, North Carolina. He then quickly also announces that he’s signed a contract with All Elite Wrestling as a member of their broadcast team.
The episode ends with Chris Jericho talking about how he wants to make history by winning the first AEW World Champion. He states that he doesn’t want any of his family to see the match, as it will either be “the greatest night of his career or the beginning of the end of the legend that is Chris Jericho.” He states firmly to Hangman Page that it’s not his time, and that he “has to win at All Out.”
Other segments include Frankie Kazarian scoping out a Chuck E. Cheese, A Boy and his Dinosaur walking the dog, and the AEW managerial staff taking pictures outside of Ted Turner’s old mansion.
