Jon Moxley’s unfortunately timed elbow injury has thrown more than just All Elite Wrestling’s plans out of whack. The former WWE Champion had several indie events planned in the leadup to AEW’s TV debut, and all of them are now up in the air.
For example, Moxley was originally penned in to face Josh Barnett at Game Changer Wrestling’s Bloodsport 2 event. The contest is a continuation of the first Bloodsport, pitting a wrestler against an MMA star in a hybrid contest. While Bloodsport 2 will still happen, Jon Moxley has issued a rain check on that specific match.

Since Moxley won’t be able to perform at All Out next week, it’s probable that he also won’t be able to appear at Starrcast. Starrcast officials don’t know for sure if he will indeed attend his scheduled meet and gree and panels, but they have promised to issue refunds and a replacement event if the worst occurs.
Like you, today we learned that Jon Moxley is unable to wrestle due to injury, but that’s all at this point. If he is unable to travel for #Starrcast, we will issue refunds for his Meet & Greet and attempt to replace his panel on stage.
Updates forthcoming when available.
