Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer gave some updated numbers regarding the television deal that was reached between WWE and USA Network to air NXT live every Wednesday this September.
According to Meltzer on the most recent “Wrestling Observer Radio,” the deal is worth $60 million and that’s over the course of two years, so the numbers per year end up being $30 million (or $600,ooo a week). Meltzer originally was given a range of deal that had a minimum floor of $50 million and that’s still the case after clarification, it’s just dispersed over two years instead of per year.
