This past Saturday, Orlando “Epico” Colon captured for the first time the WWC Universal Heavyweight title after beating “The Precious One” Gilbert in the main event of WWC’s Anniversary show in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico.
Ray Gonzalez returned after a year hiatus to be the special guest referee for the match.
After Epico’s victory, all the Colons and other wrestlers celebrated in the ring, but Gonzalez had a bombshell announcement for Epico: He will have to defend the title in September against his cousin, Primo Colon.
The match will happen at “Septiembre Negro”, September the 14th in Caguas and will mark the first time ever that the “Shinning Stars” will clash against one another.
