During the SummerSlam Meet & Greet this weekend, WWE 24/7 Champion R-Truth was taking pictures with fans and singing happily about there being no referee present. He seemingly let his guard down, and perennial rival Drake Maverick arrived in a John Cena costume to try to win the belt. R-Truth is delighted at first since Cena was his “childhood hero.”
After revealing himself and failing to capture the belt with a roll-up, Titus O’Neil arrived to try his hand at capturing the gold. The confusion between the two challengers allowed Truth to escape with the gold, and things ended poorly after that for 205 Live’s General Manager.
