WWE.com posted the following, confirming Seth Rollins will still compete at SummerSlam. Rollins was brutally attacked by Universal Champion Brock Lesnar for the second time in as many weeks, but still appears good to go in his title match this Sunday.
Seth Rollins was evaluated by WWE medical personnel following yet another attack at the hands of Brock Lesnar on Raw, and has been medically cleared to challenge Lesnar for the Universal Title this Sunday at SummerSlam.
In related news, WWE also posted another storyline update, noting Roman Reigns is still set to appear on tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown Live despite being involved in a parking lot incident on RAW. Roman was pulling up to the arena when a mystery assailant rammed into his car, but appears to be fine for tonight’s show.
Roman Reigns was involved in a hit-and-run earlier tonight in the parking lot of Monday Night Raw. He narrowly escaped what could have been a permanent injury but was checked out by WWE medical staff and released to appear tomorrow night in Detroit for SmackDown LIVE.
