NXT Breakout Tournament: Angel Garza vs. Jordan Myles
Garza fakes Myles out on a handshake. Garza and Myles trade waist locks and submission holds. Myles does a backflip escape before landing a beautiful dropkick. Wrecking ball dropkick by Myles. Myles goes out on the apron. Garza trips Myles on the apron. Myles hits the apron face first. Garza sends Myles into the ring steps. Garza goes ‘Full Monty’ and rips his pants off. Double under hook backbreaker by Garza. Garza puts Myles in a camel clutch. Myles escapes but Garza levels Myles with a superkick. Myles kicks out. Myles fires up and hits a basement dropkick. Spinning clothesline in the corner by Myles. Myles tries a springboard. Garza meets Myles in the air with a dropkick. Myles kicks out. Deadlift German suplex by Myles for the win.
Winner- Jordan Myles
Shane Thorne storms the commentary desk to complain about not getting a shot while they are debuting eight new superstars. Thorne doesn’t need a tournament to breakout. Thorne is going to break out on his own.
Backstage, Johnny Gargano picks a street fight for the first stipulation for the 2-out-of-3 falls match against Adam Cole.
Bianca Belair vs. Xia Li
Belair drives Li into the corner. Belair stomps Li in the corner. Belair ragdolls Li around the ring. Belair drops Li with the Glam Slam. Handspring moonsault by Belair. Belair runs into an elbow by Li. Belair responds with a fallaway slam. Li escapes Belair’s delayed vertical suplex. Li misses a kick off the top rope. Belair hits the KOD for the win.
