Mickie James Has Successful Surgery
Mickie James posted the following on Twitter this morning, thanking fans for their support as she went in for knee surgery today:
Thank you all for your love, prayers, and well wishes. I am grateful! I’ll be just fine… if I come back… I’m coming back bionic! ?

Mickie has been sidelined with a torn ACL since last month and is expected to miss the remainder of 2019. She confirmed the knee injury herself after it was reported that she was injured during a WWE live event match with Carmella in Waco, Texas.
James’ husband and NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis followed up with a post-surgery update:

Austin Gunn Set For ROH Top Prospect Tournament
Ring Of Honor has confirmed Austin Gunn will be one of the participants in this year’s Top Prospect Tournament.
Austin is the son of WWE Hall Of Famer Billy Gunn, and trained at Team 3D Academy in Florida before training at the ROH Dojo. Gunn made his pro wrestling debut in 2017, including an appearance in the Over The Budget Battle Royal at All In last year. It was reported that Gunn had signed with Ring Of Honor last month after he had made an announcement at River City Wrestling Con.
“I’m all about proving that I can hold my own in this business and making a name for myself,” Gunn said.
The Top Prospect Tournament is set to begin on July 21 at ROH Mass Hysteria in Lowell, Mass. Past tournament winners include current ROH World Champion Matt Taven, Josh Woods, and ROH Alumni Mike Bennett (Kanellis), Hanson, Donovan Dijak and Lio Rush.
