FIGHT FOR THE FALLEN BUY-IN PRE-SHOW

“The Librarian” Peter Avalon vs. Sonny Kiss 

Avalon tries to teach the crowd a lesson before the match but Sonny Kiss comes to the ring. Avalon tries to quiet Kiss and shoves him down. A hurricanrana takes Avalon down and an arm drag sends him into the corner. Kiss hits a triple back handspring but Avalon kicks him right in the face. Kiss suplexes Avalon for a near fall. Avalon dumps Kiss out of the ring. Leva Bates rolls Kiss back into the ring. Kiss nails an exploder suplex and kips up. He hits a Twerk-Sault on Avalon for a near fall.

Avalon drops Kiss with a kick to the head. Avalon misses a moonsault and Kiss hits a split-legged leg drop off the top for the win.

Winner: Sonny Kiss

Backstage, Cody and Dustin Rhodes talk about their tag team match with the Young Bucks. Dustin says “the brotherhood is in town” and promises to powerslam both men. Cody says he’s 100 percent and, tonight, the Brotherhood will prove they’re better than the Bucks.

Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. & Riho vs. Bea Priestley & Shoko Nakajima

Baker and Nakajima lock up to start the match. Baker grabs Nakajima’s tail but she uses her agility to escape and hits Baker with a dropkick. Priestley tags in but Baker hits her with an arm drag and tosses her. Riho tags in and hits a diving crossbody for a near fall. Priestley uses her strength to counter Riho’s speed and slams her. Priestley grounds Riho, who uses the ropes to escape an arm bar. Nakajima tags in and controls the match with Priestly.

Nakajima nails a diving dropkick but Rio hits a footstomp. Priestley hits her from behind and Najajima drops Riho with a 619. A headscissors takedown gives Riho some momentum but Priestley drops her with a kick to the head. Baker charges in to even the odds and the match breaks down into a slugfest. Priestley and Baker tag in and exchange strikes. A diving knee to the face gets Priestley a near fall. Baker plants Priestley with a butterfly suplex for a two count. Priestley drops Riho with a kick and Nakajima sends Baker to the floor and dives onto her. Priestley nearly gets the win with another suplex. A senton off the top nearly puts Baker away but Riho breaks up the pin.

Riho plants Priestley with a diving dropkick and Baker hits her with a DDT for a near fall. Riho catches Nakajima with a running knee and almost gets the win with a bridging suplex. Nakajima kicks out again after a diving stomp. Nakajima nails a DDT but misses a diving senton. Nakajima pins Riho after a hurricanrana.

Winners: Bea Priestley and Shoko Nakajima

The competitors keep fighting after the match but eventually they all peacefully head to the back.

In an interview, Kip Sabian talks about his match with Adam Page. He says he’s not here just to be part of the roster; he wants to prove he’s one of the best in the world, so he doesn’t feel like an underdog. Sabian says he’s upset by the way Page is handed opportunities because he’s a member of the Elite.  Sabian says he’s ready and he hopes Page is, too.

Jim Ross makes his way to the ring to signal the show will be starting soon.

Main Show 

Jimmy Havoc, Darby Allin and Joey Janela vs. MJF, Sammy Guevara and Shawn Spears

Before the match, Spears has Justin Roberts announce him as “the Chairman of AEW.” Janela and MJF start the match but Havoc quickly tags in and bites MJF’s hand. Eventually, MJF slams Havoc and tags Guevara while Janela also tags in. A hard kick rocks Janela but he dodges a diving Guevara and plants him with a German suplex into the corner. Guevara hits a rising knee strike but Havoc drops him with a stiff strike.

Guevara hits a nasty knee to the head and tags Spears, who stares down Allin. The two men stare each other down before Spears tags out. Guevara gives Allin the middle finger and Allin takes him down with a springboard arm drag. MJF rocks Janela with a stiff forearm and flexes. Spears tags in and stomps Janela in the corner. A nasty chop sends Janela into the corner. Guevara drags Janela back to his corner and MJF tags himself in right after Spears enters the match.

MJF flips off Spears and mocks his Perfect 10 pose. Guevara and Havoc tag in and Havoc drops Spears with a slam onto MJF. Havoc sends MJF and Spears out of the ring and Allin tags himself in. MJF throws Janela into the corner. Havoc drops MJF with an Acid Rainmaker but Guevara plants him with a backstabber. Guevara flies all around the ring and takes out everybody. Janela salms Guevara right on the apron. Spears tags himself in and drops Allin with a a Death Valley Driver for the win.

Winners: MJF, Sammy Guevara and Shawn Spears

Spears stares MJF down after the match.

A video package focuses on Brandi Rhodes and Allie. During the video, Brandi talks about her self-doubt while Allie says she believes in herself. Allie is confident she’ll win while Brandi focuses on overcoming her demons.
