Akira Tozawa isn’t going anywhere, despite fans thinking the worst after the 205 Live Superstar tweeted that he was ‘DONE.’
Last night, Tozawa tweeted ‘DONE’ shortly after midnight EST, which caught some attention due to it being three years to the month that he signed with WWE. Tozawa’s tweet has since been deleted, and POST Wrestling’s John Pollock has also debunked the rumor of Tozawa’s departure, saying the 205 Live star has plenty of time left on his contract and is not leaving the company.
Akira Tozawa is not leaving WWE. Told he has plenty of time left on his current deal.

Tozawa signed with the company shortly after being announced as a participant in the WWE Cruiserweight Classic, and has reigned as Cruiserweight Champion on one occasion. Last night, he faced Tony Nese for a shot at new champion Drew Gulak, who won the title in a triple threat against Nese and Tozawa this past Sunday at WWE Stomping Grounds.
