In an interview with RondaRousey.com, NXT sensation Matt Riddle had some choice words to say about his career plants to take Brock Lesnar out of the business. Riddle has been vocal on social media about wanting to wrestle his fellow MMA alumni, going so far as to tease interfering with his Money in the Bank cash-in on RAW. As for when Brock finally does retire, Matt wants to be involved. “I think of it as more of a passing of the torch. And the thing is, it’s like one of those things, I feel like it would be a good way to go out.”
Speaking of MMA, Riddle also stated that the hardest thing he had to do in his transition from MMA fights to pro wrestling is learning how to sell. “The hardest part is going from when you’re actually hurt and not showing anybody anything on your face because you don’t want them to know you’re hurt, to barely getting hurt and showing the world that you’re dying.”
