With the vacant NXT Tag Team Championships on the line, one of the most highly anticipated matches at NXT TakeOver XXV was the Ladder match for the belts. Featuring an incredible assortment of tag teams, this match not only lived up to the hype, but might have surpassed it.

Featuring Oney Lorcan and Danny Burn, The Street Profits, The Undisputed Era, and The Forgotten Sons all competing for the tag team titles, the match was every bit as brutal as fans might have hoped. Not only did every group utilize the use of ladders to their fullest, but with high flying groups taking part in the match, there were plenty of superstars flying throughout the match.
At the end of the day, however, it was The Street Profits who were able to capitalize on their opponents. As The Forgotten Sons were all alone in the ring, The Street Profits jumped into action, with Angelo Dawkins delivering a brutal spear to one of the Sons in the ring, and Montez Ford jumping onto the ladder to knock down the other member. From there, it was easy for Ford to grab the belts and crown themselves as the newest NXT Tag Team Champions.
