All Elite Wrestling is streaming the premiere of the Hangman Page versus PAC this afternoon on the company’s YouTube channel. Fans can watch the match (dubbed “Hangman vs. Bastard”) right here; the match was recorded on May 18 in Nottingham, England for Wrestlegate Pro.
The match, originally set for this weekend’s AEW Double Or Nothing event, took place early due to a reported discrepancy over creative plans. According to a report from F4W Online, the main issue seems to stem from PAC’s unwillingness to lose while holding the Dragon Gate World Championship, but speculation about his status has remained.
Due to the cancellation at Double Or Nothing, Page showed up at Wrestlegate this weekend where the two had an impromptu match. Following the bout, PAC said this met his obligations to AEW, and he wasn’t going to Las Vegas after all.
