Lars Sullivan has been embroiled in controversy for past racially charged statements. Yesterday, the wrestler received a $100,000 fine and was ordered to attend sensitivity training. It seems like the new WWE superstar has taken this to heart, as Lars is reportedly reaching out to his fellow stars backstage. Titus O’Neil took to Twitter today to thank Lars Sullivan for reaching out to him and apologizing.
.@LarsSWWE I Applaud you for seeking out myself&Others on the @WWE Roster to not only Sincerely Apologize, But also seek Guidance as to how to move forward in being a Better Human Being than you were 9years ago. Nobody is Perfect Including Thank you @VinceMcMahon 4Taking action!!

Titus also takes the time to thank Vince McMahon for taking the action against Lars. WWE has a mixed track record when it comes to such statements. Hulk Hogan recently returned to the company for WrestleMania after being gone for several years due to similar remarks. Hulk also was said to have spoken to many backstage prior to his appearance.
Lars himself has already issued an apology as put out by WWE.
“There is no excuse for the inappropriate remarks that I made years ago. They do not reflect my personal beliefs nor who I am today, and I apologize to anyone I offended.”
