Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer is reporting the latest in his Observer Newsletter that WWE has decided to hold Luke Harper to his contract, that he’s locked in holding for quite sometime.
According to Meltzer, Harper’s contract was originally slated to end in November, but six months has been added due to his time off for wrist surgery as his contract was frozen for that time period. With that added, Meltzer states that WWE’s contractual standing is that Harper can’t leave until right before next year’s WrestleMania.
Harper posted on April 16 that he requested his release from WWE, thanking them for the past six years of work, but if WWE has any say, they aim to be keeping Harper put.
