The Rock received quite the surprise on Twitter when ’80s Wrestling Con shared a 1983 photograph of The People’s Champ with his father, Rocky Johnson, as the former WWF Tag Team Champion made the rounds signing autographs for fans. This prompted Rock to talk about thehistoric moment with his dad & partner Tony Atlas as well as his awkward dental make-up an 11-eleven year old aspiring to be a wrestler.
Wow what a pic.
Back when my dad (along w @tonyatlas) became @WWE’s first Black Tag Team Champions.
I adored my old man here at 11yrs old and clearly couldn’t wait to start hitting the gym.
After I fixed my horribly bucked teeth. https://t.co/zOVXBYOW99— Dwayne Johnson (@TheRock) March 27, 2019
