One of the most anticipated matches of tonight’s episode of SmackDown Live was Kurt Angle and his final match on SmackDown against AJ Styles. Unfortunately for the fans and both superstars, that match was ended prematurely.

At the start of the match, both Angle and Styles were able to lock each other into some rough submissions, with Angle trapping Styles in an Ankle Lock that Styles was able to fight his way out of. Just as the two shook off the effects of their submissions, Randy Orton stormed the ring, hitting Styles with an RKO before delivering a series of kicks to the downed Styles in the process. Thankfully for him, Angle was still in the ring, and was able to grab Orton and knock him down and out of the ring with an Angle Slam. Angle then helped Styles off and ended their brief match with a handshake and a hug.
