On tonight’s episode of RAW, Finn Balor took on both Bobby Lashley and Jinder Mahal in a handicap match. There was a huge stipulation as if Balor won, he’d get an IC title rematch at WrestleMania 35. The Irish underdog managed to do just that.
The bout was supposed to be Lashley and Lio Rush against Balor, but Rush opted out of the match saying he wasn’t medically cleared. The heel duo had the advantage early, but Balor never lost his drive. He started to gain momentum once Mahal was tagged in. Things were complicated as it wasn’t just Balor against two because the Singh brothers were also trying to interfere. However, a dive outside evened things up, and a double foot stomp on Mahal secured his WrestleMania match.
