For most new wrestlers coming into WWE these days, you don’t see too much of a change in gimmick. You might get a name change or a slight tweak to personality, but we’re long past the days of Chris Hero transforming into Kassius Ohno. However, TNA import Robbie E seems to be trying his hand at a new role. Possibly due to Matt Riddle’s recent emergence in the yellow brand. In his NXT house show debut, he premiered as tag team manager Robert Strauss.

Dressed in a suit and some pants that need a tailor, Robert backed up Saurav Gurjar and Rinku Singh. According to FLWrestlingFan on Twitter, he gave a mission statement during his debut. He expanded on his mission to create a group of elite wrestlers from across the globe. While managers haven’t been truly in favor in WWE for a long while, we’ve seen more in recent years than you’d expect. Here’s hoping the former Jersey Shore wannabe makes an impact in this new profession.
