Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer reported via the latest episode of “Wrestling Observer Radio” as to what the current plan is (and has been) for Baron Corbin and Kurt Angle at WrestleMania 35.
From what Meltzer has heard, the plan has been to follow through with Kurt Angle facing Corbin at “The Showcase Of The Immortals.” As of yesterday, Meltzer says that plan remains the same despite the storyline door being open for John Cena to usurp the former Constable of RAW as the final opponent for The Olympic Hero. Meltzer speculates that with the way WWE has been reacting to audience response, that this could still have a shot at changing, but as of yesterday Corbin looks to be Kurt’s final squared-circle foe.
