Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Frank Mir’s first wrestling opponent has been revealed and it’s a doozy. According to Josh Barnett’s Twitter account, Mir will face Dan Severn at a Game Changer Wrestling event on April 4, 2019.

Mir is one of the most accomplished heavyweight fighters in UFC history. Mir set a number of records in UFC’s heavyweight division and he spent 16 years with the promotion before signing with Bellator MMA in 2017.
Meanwhile, Severn is a member of the UFC Hall of Fame and he’s one of the most legendary figures in the history of mixed martial arts. Severn has also been a professional wrestler for over 27 years, including a run with the World Wrestling Federation from 1997-1999.
