New Japan Pro-Wrestling issued the following statement, announcing Japanese wrestlers have obtained working visas:
An Update Regarding US Visas
New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Japanese wrestlers have obtained their visas for the United States.
We truly appreciate the understanding and support of our fans.
Japanese talents were previous unable to compete on the NJPW New Beginning USA tour that took place in January and February. At that time, the promotion cited the United States government shutdown as reason for talent being unable to work those shows because they couldn’t get their visas. EVIL also had issues with visas last month, as he was unable to enter the country even though he was advertised for a Pro Wrestling Force event in Illinois.
