Wrestlezone was on hand as Cody Rhodes and Nick Jackson of the Young Bucks took part in a media scrum after last week’s Double Or Nothing ticket announcement party in Las Vegas. The pair spoke about the new partnership with AAA of Mexico, with both being very positive about its potential, and Cody saying it’s more of a friendship.
Cody: I was excited because Dorian—we put a post out on the [AEW social channels] talking about the cross-promotion—it’s more of a friendship, I’d say, than a partnership. You will see guys cross that line. This might piss some people off, but there are some dated, weird, antiquated systems… ‘oh we only want to work with these people…’
Nick: We want to end that.
Cody: Our bridges are down, we want to work with everybody. What a great…
Nick: And why wouldn’t you want to work with us? Pretty cool, right? Let’s have some fun, that’s what this is all about.
