In a match that was built up for months, Kurt Angle returned to Monday Night RAW only to fall to his enemy Baron Corbin. Corbin would antagonize “The Olympic Hero” saying that his glory days are far behind him. He provoked ANgle to the point of attacking Corbin, delivering a litany of suplexes. Angle would be in the advantage for a while only to be caught with a Deep Six by Corbin, effectively ending him for the pinfall loss. Corbin wasn’t satisfied with just pinning the former WWE Champion, as he added insult to injury with an End of Days.

The loss to Angle is another humiliating defeat for the WWE Hall of Famer, just weeks after he was beaten by Drew McIntyre.
